This pencil is made from authentic whitetail deer antler.  Like all antler, deer antler is subject to great variation in color from grey-brown to nearly white.  No two are alike but they are all distinctive and beautiful and will vary somewhat from the one that is pictured.  Its nature's canvas. 

The mechanial parts are long lasting and dependable.  All of our Lamar Mechanical Pencils use .07 leads.  The lead advances with the push of the click plunger on the back of the pencil.  To retract the lead, push and hold the plunger, then manually push the lead back into the mechanism.    A convenient eraser is concealed under the plunger.
