Thin sheets of pine veneer are laminated together under pressure to produce this unusual layered look  When the layers are carved into a slight curve it makes for a truly unique look.  Small but substantial it is equipped with a Cross type refill which will write for an amazingly long time before you will need to replace the refill which can be easily found at office supply stores everywhere.  Refills can also be purchase on this website.
